About This Course
This course will take you on a journey to comprehend treasures from the Qur'an and Sunnah! Today, we find heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and obesity ubiquitous in society among younger and younger generations. You will learn about what Islam teaches us about our body, how eating healthy can earn you good deeds, shocking facts about the food industry today, and how you can care for your health while still enjoying traditional food. This course will cover Sunnah foods, treasures from the Qur'an and Sunnah that could prevent or reverse many diseases, common misconceptions about eating healthily, and recipes you can make on your journey to better health.

Noor Salem is an author of seven books and a speaker who holds a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Noor completed her Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health with a concentration in Human Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health and a certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She has worked with clients for years through her wellness practice, Holistic Noortrition, and conducted workshops and group coaching classes on Sunnah and Qur'anic Health in countless faith-based organizations, conventions, and universities nationwide, including MAS-ICNA, AlMaghrib Institute, and ICNA. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and poetry, Imam al-Shafi’s Diwan being amongst her favorites.
