About This Course


A week-long Islamic studies journey where children aged 6 to 10 dive into the profound teachings of adab (manners) through the last surahs of the Qur'an. Over the course, participants will study a selection of surahs, starting with Surah Al-Fatihah and progressing between Surah Al-Zalzalah and An-Nas. Through interactive sessions incorporating storytelling, discussions, and engaging activities, children will not only deepen their understanding of the Quran but also develop practical skills and awareness to embody noble virtues such as kindness, patience, gratitude, and empathy in their daily lives.

Irslan Ahmad

Islamic Studies Teacher
Irslan Ahmad is a seasoned instructor with over eight years of teaching experience in various Islamic institutions in Dallas and elsewhere. A hafiz of the Qur’an, Irslan has spent considerable time in the company of local scholars and a’immah with the support of family and teachers. He has a B.S in Neuroscience and an M.A. in Islamic Education. Currently a full-time student pursuing the sacred sciences at Darul Qasim College, he intends to continue studying Islam. Irslan has also served in various roles in the Muslim community from a tender age, from a board position in his university MSA to leading da’wah projects to development work for charity institutions. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing basketball, painting, traveling, and spending time with his family.
